The University of Wyoming Geriatric Education Center (WyGEC) has selected winners of a photo contest to show activities of the aging population.
Prizes were awarded in both student and community categories with cash awards of $250, $100 and $50 in each category. Winning photos will be displayed this fall at the UW Art Museum.
“We wanted photos that showcase the heritage of Wyoming and present positive images of the aging population that include, but are not limited to, creating fun memories, spotlighting hobbies and talents, exhibiting symbolic items of Wyoming, displaying our gorgeous landscape, uncovering state history and capturing Wyoming’s older generation,” says Christine McKibbin, WyGEC project director.
