Floyd Clarke Memorial Lecture in the University of Wyoming’s Department of Zoology and Physiology Thursday, Oct. 9, at 7 p.m. in Room 138 of the Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center.

October 1, 2014 — The University of Wyoming and WPX Energy cut the ribbon today (Wednesday) on a new drilling simulator teaching laboratory that lets students experience what it’s like to drill an oil well -- giving them the skills they need to operate successfully and safely on today’s fast-paced oil and gas rigs.

October 1, 2014 — Three University of Wyoming researchers participated in a study about high winter ozone levels near an oil and gas field in Utah, an analysis that could help inform future monitoring and mitigation strategies for air quality impacts from oil and gas extraction -- and provide broader insight into the response of winter ozone to primary pollutants.
