Local Historic Sites Topic of Retirees Meeting Oct. 20

Some of the significant historic sites in Albany County will be discussed during the October meeting of the University of Wyoming/State Retirees of Albany County Monday, Oct. 20.

The meeting will take place at 10 a.m. at the Eppson Center for Seniors, 1560 N. Third St. Mary Hopkins, state historic preservation officer, will be the speaker.

All UW retirees and near-retirees are invited to attend. The retirees meet at the Eppson Center the third Monday of each month during the academic year.

“These monthly programs provide a forum for good conversation, plus a healthy exchange of information, questions and answers,” says Kathe Carlton, president.
