UW Engineering Task Force to Meet Thursday

The Wyoming Governor’s Energy, Engineering, STEM Integration Task Force will meet Thursday and Friday, Dec. 4-5, at the University of Wyoming’s Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center.

The task force, composed of industry and state leaders, guides efforts to lift the University of Wyoming’s College of Engineering and Applied Science to “Tier-1” status. Co-chairing the group are UW engineering alumni Tom Botts, former executive vice president of global manufacturing for Royal Dutch Shell; and Greg Hill, president and chief operating officer of Hess Corp.

The task force is scheduled to have dinner with UW faculty members at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Gateway Center. Friday’s meeting is scheduled from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. The session is open to the public.
