University of Wyoming faculty and staff members are being asked to volunteer as judges for the Wyoming State Science Fair March 1-3.
More than 300 students from around Wyoming in grades 6-12 will be on the UW campus to compete in science, mathematics, engineering and social science categories. Dozens of volunteers are needed to judge the entries.
Organizers say the typical investment of time for judges is three hours over the course of two days. The window for pre-interview judging is 6-9 p.m. March 1 and/or 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 2. Student researcher interviews take place 12:45-4:30 p.m. March 2.
For more information or to volunteer, contact Joy Johnson with UW’s Science and Mathematics Teaching Center at JoyB.Johnson@uwyo.edu.
