UW Pan Band to Perform April 23

The University of Wyoming’s Pan Band will perform Thursday, April 23, at 7:30 p.m. in the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts concert hall. The concert is free and open to the public.

Playing on traditional Caribbean steel drums, the group will perform music from familiar Latin melodies, tropical calypso tunes and Jimmy Buffett’s popular “Cheeseburger in Paradise.”

In addition to the April 23 performance, the UW Pan Band will host a dinner concert at UW’s Washakie dining facility Thursday, April 30, from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
