Tickets on Sale at UW for Elitch Gardens Trip July 10

Tickets are now on sale at the University of Wyoming for a UW Summer Programs-sponsored trip to Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park in Denver Friday, July 10.

Tickets can be purchased at the Wyoming Union information desk for $15 for UW students and $20 for the public. The ticket price includes admission to the theme park, plus transportation to and from the park.

Participants should meet at the Wyoming Union information desk at 8:30 a.m. the day of the event to board the bus. Event organizers say the bus will depart Denver at 4:30 p.m.

Now in its 125th year, Elitch Gardens offers more than 50 rides and attractions, live entertainment and a water park. The park recently opened its new ride, SlideZilla, a six-story water hydro-beast that includes a tornado wave water wall.
