University of Wyoming Calendar for June 22

These are among the activities scheduled June 22-28 at the University of Wyoming:

Monday, June 22, 12:30 and 5 p.m. -- Indoor vertical dance and Lights Along the Shore musical performance, UW Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center lobby. Free.

Tuesday, June 23-Saturday, June 27, 7:30 p.m. -- The UW Snowy Range Summer Theatre presents “The Mountaintop,” Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts Studio Theater. Tickets cost $10 for the public and $7 for students, senior citizens and children over age 5. For tickets and information, call (307) 766-6666, go online at www.uwyo.edu/finearts, or visit the Performing Arts box office or the Wyoming Union information desk.

Wednesday, June 24, 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. -- Rock band Adolescent Behavior will perform as part of the UW Summer Programs concert series on Simpson Plaza. Free.

Friday, June 26, 8 p.m. -- Planetarium show, “Planet Series: Mercury and Venus.” A Daft Punk laser light show follows at 9:10 p.m. Tickets cost $2 for students and $3 for nonstudents, Physical Sciences Building basement. Advance tickets are available in Room 204 of the Physical Sciences Building.

Saturday, June 27, 3 p.m. -- Artist workshop with Diana Baumbach, Wyoming Arts Council Visual Arts Fellowship recipient, UW Art Museum. Free, but limited to 15 participants. To register, call Rachel Clifton at (307) 766-6621 or email rmiller@uwyo.edu.

The UW Department of Botany’s Williams Conservatory is open to the public Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Free.

Dinosaur skeletons, ancient mammal fossils and other exhibits are on display in the UW Geological Museum, open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Free.
