Tuesday, July 7-Saturday, July 11, 7:30 p.m. -- The UW Snowy Range Summer Theatre presents “Mad Gravity,” Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts Studio Theater. Tickets cost $10 for the public and $7 for students, senior citizens and children over age 5. Wednesday, July 8, 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. -- Rock band Stella Luce will perform as part of the UW Summer Programs concert series on Simpson Plaza. Free.
Wednesday, July 8, 5:30 p.m. -- UW “What in the World?” Lecture Series presents Nicole Crawford, UW Art Museum collections curator, and Pechet Men, assistant director of Cambodia’s Museum of Memory. They will discuss “The Khmer Rouge Genocide and Cambodia’s Museum of Memory” at the Albany County Public Library Centennial branch. Free.
Friday, July 10, 8 p.m. -- Planetarium show, “Einstein’s Universe: Special Relativity, Time Travel and More.” A Laser Gaga laser light show follows at 9:10 p.m. Tickets cost $2 for students and $3 for nonstudents, Physical Sciences Building basement. Advance tickets are available in Room 204 of the Physical Sciences Building.
The UW Department of Botany’s Williams Conservatory is open to the public Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Free.
Dinosaur skeletons, ancient mammal fossils and other exhibits are on display in the UW Geological Museum, open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Free.
