Cowboy Check-In Encourages UW Student Participation

September 1, 2015

The University of Wyoming Campus Activities Center (CAC), for the second year, sponsors the opt-in Cowboy Check-In program that encourages student attendance and participation in CAC events.

During the 2014-15 school year, there were 46 CAC events where Cowboy Check-In was available and, at those events, more than 2,350 WyoOne cards were scanned. Prizes will be awarded to students who check in to the most events throughout the year.

All fee-paying, currently enrolled university students in good standing are eligible to win. Students can “check-in” at any event where a Cowboy Check-In logo is posted. The logo also can be located on event posters and online.

Friday Night Fever, Visual and Cultural Arts, Student Activities Council, and Concerts and Convocations sponsor Cowboy Check-In. The program is available at most events hosted by these groups. This is an optional program, and participation is not necessary to attend CAC events.

Cowboy Check-In has begun for the 2015-16 school year. For more information, visit, and click on upcoming events, and then click the “Cowboy Check-In” link.
