An exhibition, titled “Inspired by Botanicals,” is on display through Thursday, Sept. 17, in Gallery 234, located in the lower level of the University of Wyoming Union.

The exhibition features porcelain pottery by Lauren Kearns, professional ceramicist living and working in Loveland, Colo. A reception for her will be held Thursday, Sept. 10, from 5-7 p.m., where refreshments will be provided.

Kearns makes functional and sculptural porcelain pieces that combine forms, colors and patterns to create a fluidity of movement and texture. Her pieces have been featured in publications, galleries and shows around the world.
