United Way Campaign Kickoff Thursday at UW

The University of Wyoming’s 2015 United Way campaign will begin Thursday, Oct. 1, with a campus campaign kickoff from 3-4:30 p.m. in the University of Wyoming Union Family Room.

The entire campus community is invited to attend the event, which will feature refreshments and information about the United Way of Albany County -- and the 16 nonprofit agencies it supports. Representatives of those agencies will be on hand to provide information about the services they provide.

In addition, UW Board of Trustees member Mike Massie is scheduled to speak.

UW employees may donate to the United Way through payroll deduction or one-time contributions.

“We invite everyone at UW to come to the kickoff and learn more about all the great things the United Way does for the community,” say Kim Zafft and Dave Bagley, co-chairs of the 2015 UW campaign.
