The candidates are Bridget Burke, dean of libraries at North Dakota State University; J. Wendel Cox, assistant librarian and archivist in special collections for the University of Arizona Libraries; and Bruce Montgomery, faculty director of archives and faculty fellow in the Media Archaeology Lab for the University of Colorado at Boulder Libraries.
Burke is scheduled to visit UW Thursday and Friday, Nov. 12-13. She will give a public presentation Thursday from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in Room 214 of the Classroom Building. The title of the talk is, “The fine, the fitting and the first time around: Practicing high-impact collaboration to support scholarship, learning and community engagement in the archives.”
Cox and Montgomery are scheduled to visit UW next week and also will give public presentations. Those times and places will be announced later.
