UW Trustees Plan to Select President Friday

The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees is scheduled to select UW’s 26th president during a special meeting Friday, Dec. 18.

The board will meet in executive session beginning at 7 a.m. in the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center for an undetermined period to discuss personnel matters related to the presidential search. Trustees then will move into open session to take action on the presidency.

Following that public session, the board is scheduled to move into executive session to discuss two matters -- one a personnel issue, the other a private gift -- unrelated to the presidential search. Following that second executive session, the board is expected to move into open session to act on those two items.
