Public Forum Tuesday for First Dean of Libraries Finalist

One of the finalists for the position of dean of University of Wyoming Libraries is scheduled to give a public presentation at UW Tuesday, Jan. 26.

Catherine Hamer, associate director of user services with the University of Texas Libraries, will participate in a public forum from 3-4 p.m. in Room 138 of the Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center. The event may be viewed, live or recorded, via the WyoCast system at

The other candidates are Marilyn Moody, dean of the Portland State University Library, whose public forum is Feb. 2.; Clement “Clem” Guthro, director of libraries at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, whose public forum is Feb. 5; and Ivan Gaetz, library director at Colorado College, whose public forum is Feb. 9.

All of the public presentations will take place from 3-4 p.m. in Room 138 of the Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center.
