UW Trustees Approve Personnel Items

The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees approved the following appointments during its meeting Friday, Jan. 22:

American Heritage Center

Bridget Burke as director. She received a B.A. (1984) in English from the University of Wisconsin, an M.L.S. (1986) in library and information studies from the University of Wisconsin, and an M.A. (2001) in liberal studies (American history) from Wesleyan University. Burke has been the dean of libraries at North Dakota State University since 2014.

College of Agriculture and Natural Resources

Department of Plant Sciences

Carrie Eberle as assistant professor. She received a B.S. (2004) in natural science from the University of Wisconsin, and a Ph.D. (2012) in plant biological science from the University of Minnesota. Eberle has been a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Minnesota since 2015.

College of Health Sciences

Division of Social Work

Keith Miller as interim director. He received a B.S. (1965) in English, an M.A. (1967) in communication, and a Ph.D. (1970) in communication, all from Bowling Green State University. Miller has been a professor at UW since 1972.
