African Awareness Week concludes with the 11th annual African Night celebration Saturday, Feb. 27, at the University of Wyoming.

The Wyoming African Students Association (WASA) sponsors African Awareness Week activities, including the closing cultural show, dinner and dance.

The cultural show, featuring a variety of performances, will be from 4-6 p.m. in the UW College of Education auditorium. The program is free and open to the public. Door prizes will be given to the first 100 attendees.

The annual dinner and dance will follow at 6:30 p.m. in the Wyoming Union Ballroom. Free tickets will be distributed at the Wyoming Union information desk at 11 a.m. each day through Thursday, Feb. 25. Formal or traditional attire is requested for the dinner.

Also on display through the week is the “Project Dawn” exhibition in the Wyoming Union skylight lounge.
