A symposium to explore the latest advances in drone technology will be among discussion topics on this week’s UW podcast, “The University of Wyoming Today.”

Jeff Hamerlinck, director of the Wyoming Geographic Information Science Center, will discuss the unmanned aerial vehicles (or drones) symposium scheduled May 17-18 at UW.

In other segments, UW history Professor Phil Roberts will discuss the infamous blizzard of 1949, and researcher Justin Schmidt will describe a scale he developed to measure pain caused by insect stings.
