UWs Annual RSO Banquet Set April 25

The University of Wyoming’s annual Recognized Student Organization (RSO) Awards of Excellence Banquet is set Monday, April 25, at 6:30 p.m. in the Union Ballroom.

With more than 240 organizations, RSOs provide opportunities for students to get involved with their peers. Being a part of an RSO gives students a chance to network and, ultimately, gain professional experience.

Each year, RSOs host a number of events on and off campus. Some RSO members also attend conferences to expand their knowledge regarding their RSO’s focus. Most importantly, the groups participate in service activities that positively impact UW and the Laramie community.

The RSO Awards of Excellence Banquet recognizes these groups and all of their accomplishments from the past year.

The Campus Activities Center will present awards in the following categories: Vice President for Student Affairs Outstanding RSO Award; RSO Community Service Award; RSO Teamwork Award; Outstanding RSO Advisor Award; and the Best New RSO Award.
