UW Board of Trustees to Meet May 11

A visit from Gov. Matt Mead, budget discussions and updates on a variety of topics are on the agenda for the University of Wyoming Board of Trustees May 11-13.

The meeting begins with an executive session at noon Wednesday, May 11, in Salons D and E of the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center. Before that, from 7-11:30 a.m., a number of board committees are scheduled to meet.

The governor is scheduled to meet with the board at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

The business meeting, in which trustees take formal action on agenda items, is scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday. All meetings are open to the public except for executive sessions.

Public testimony will be accepted at 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
