Improving a business’s website presentation will be the topic of a webinar Thursday, June 2, from 2-3 p.m.

The Wyoming Entrepreneur Small Business Development Center in Powell sponsors the event, which is part of the Business Fitness Webinar series. Wyoming Entrepreneur programs are funded through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Wyoming Business Council and the University of Wyoming.

Eric Spellmann, owner and president of Spellmann & Associates, will present “First Impressions: How People View Your Website.” What do visitors see first? What makes a visitor click? What causes visitors to leave a website? He will discuss how to increase the effectiveness of business websites to increase leads and sales, and explain the split-second judgments people make about a website when visiting for the first time.

Spellmann is a featured speaker at a number of national and international conferences. In addition, he consults with companies from a "coaching” perspective to help them achieve their marketing goals. His online marketing video series is one of the most popular on the subject, and thousands of fans follow his national video blogs. With more than a half million views, these videos educate business owners all around the world on the latest Internet success marketing tools and strategies.

Wyoming Entrepreneur is a business advising group that consists of the Wyoming Small Business Development Center, Procurement Technical Assistance Center, Market Research Center and the SBIR/STTR Initiative. Main offices are on the UW campus.

Cost of the webinar is $15. To register for the webinar, go to http://bit.ly/June2016BizFit. For more information, call Peggy Baker at 1-800-348-5194.
