UW Trustees to Hold Annual Retreat Aug. 3

The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees will hold its annual retreat Wednesday through Friday, Aug. 3-5, at the Platte Valley Community Center in Saratoga.

Topics scheduled for discussion include budget reductions for the current biennium; revenue enhancement; construction projects; statewide engagement; institutional fundraising priorities; enrollment; and strategic planning.

A meeting with state legislators is scheduled 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3.

A business meeting, during which action may be taken, is scheduled from 8-10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5. Among the issues scheduled to be addressed at that time are bids for the second phase of the Arena-Auditorium renovation; and a contract with Oracle Corp. to transform UW’s financial, administrative and research support systems.

All meetings of the Board of Trustees are open to the public except executive sessions.
