UW Quartet, Australian Storyteller to Give Free Concerts in Big Horn County

University of Wyoming instrumental quartet Lights Along the Shore and Australian master storyteller Paul Taylor will give free concerts in Big Horn County in September.

Performances are scheduled at the Greybull High School auditorium 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, and at the Hyattville church at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9.

Lights Along the Shore will perform original compositions and arrangements, along with traditional folk music from various cultures. The group has recorded two CDs. Taylor will present Aboriginal creation stories.

Working with Arts Cheyenne, Lights Along the Shore received funding from the Wyoming Community Foundation to support the programs in Greybull and Hyattville, as well as a program last November in Wamsutter.
