UW Extension Pesticide Safety Specialist Receives National Achievement Honor

The University of Wyoming Extension specialist responsible for pesticide safety training has received the Achievement Award from the National Association of County Agricultural Agents (NACAA).

Jeff Edwards, extension specialist based at the James C. Hageman Sustainable Agriculture Research and Extension Center near Lingle, received the award during the association’s annual meeting in Little Rock, Ark., in July. Edwards also lends horticultural expertise through extension.

This award is given to educators with 10 years or less of service in cooperative extension and who have exhibited excellence in extension education, according to the NACAA.
