Internationalization Award Nominations Due Dec. 16 at UW

The deadline to nominate individuals for student, faculty and staff awards for internationalization at the University of Wyoming is 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16.

Every year, the UW International Board of Advisors and the International Programs Office recognize individuals who have significantly contributed to internationalization and the promotion of global awareness at the university.

The awards include the Student International Excellence Awards, the Faculty Award for Internationalization and the Staff Award for Internationalization. Nominees and award winners will be honored at a banquet Friday, Feb. 10.

“These are prestigious and highly competitive awards,” says Mary Katherine Scott, UW International Programs Office acting director. “The awards recognize students, faculty and staff who have demonstrated excellence in promoting, establishing and maintaining activities that have enhanced internationalization at UW.”
