UW Copy and Print Center Sets December Course Packet Deadlines for Spring Semester

As the spring 2017 semester approaches, the Copy and Print Center has set deadlines for all University of Wyoming faculty members who have course packets or are considering creating them.

“Course packets are personally tailored to fit each class schedule, goals and style. They are often more affordable for students than most textbooks, but are still found in the University Store with other course materials,” says Copy and Print Center Manager John Scozzafava.

If a course packet contains copyrighted material, it is due to the Copy and Print Center no later than Dec. 5. If a packet does not have copyrighted material, the due date is Dec. 19.

Because the semester starts Jan. 23, the Copy and Print Center deadlines are important to remember, Scozzafava says.

“We set these deadlines for instructors and the students’ benefit to ensure the course packet will be done by the first day of classes,” he adds. “This is vital, especially if it contains copyrighted material, since it can take 6-8 weeks to receive permission for reproduction. If the deadlines are not attainable, please contact the Copy and Print Center to make accommodations.”

To order a course packet, visit the Copy and Print Center in Room 114 of the Wyoming Union to fill out an order form. Instructors are urged to bring in any materials, such as lecture notes, course readings or lab material in hard copy or digital form.

For more information, call the Copy and Print Center at (307) 766-3890 or email print@uwyo.edu.
