Insulation will be sprayed on the west entrance lobby north portion ceiling the morning of Saturday, Dec. 17, and passage into the vet lab will not be possible from about 8 a.m.-noon. Please use other entrances to access the building. Be aware the spray foam creates a smell during curing that will dissipate over the weekend. New ceiling tiles will be installed next week.

Wyoming State Vet Laboratory (SE Wyoming Insulation, Laramie) -- The contractor will insulate the northwest lobby low ceiling Saturday morning, Dec. 17. The crews will be in the lobby Friday at 2 p.m. to set up a partition blanket. The lobby will be accessible for the occupants. Please be cautious around crews. The insulation material will emit some odor, but that should dissipate in time over the weekend.

Ross Hall (UW Operations and Marshall Contracting, Laramie; January 2017) -- Half of the west stairs will be demolished and replaced with a ramp. Construction will break during finals week and resume again Dec. 19. Please be cautious of crews and equipment around this area.

Education Building (Arcon Inc., Laramie; August 2017) -- Construction is ongoing for the Education Building window replacement project. Scaffolding will remain on the south side of the building to enable ongoing awning repairs. Work will resume over winter closure on the south side of the second floor and southeast corner of the basement. Replacement of these windows is expected to improve energy efficiency and occupant comfort. Please be cautious of crews and equipment in the area.

Agriculture Building (Mastec, Denver, Colo.; November 2016) -- Installation of an AT&T Cellular site on the east roof of the building is nearing completion. The contractor is awaiting the arrival of 4-D equipment to complete the project. Please be cautious of work crews and equipment in the area.

The card reader and security camera systems are being installed throughout the building. The wireless access system is nearing completion. Commissioning of building mechanical and electrical systems is ongoing. Punch-list correction work is being performed throughout the building, with final punch lists being created. Final building inspections are being performed by state agencies. Fume hoods have been certified and will be inspected by the university the week of Dec. 19.

Lab mock-up ceilings have been accepted, so remaining BSL-3 framing can be completed. Concrete slab and stairs in the addition are complete, with exterior wall framing continuing. A punch list will be issued for the new cage wash area, as reconstruction is 90 percent complete. New EDS vent line and room damper actuators are being installed in the existing incinerator room.
