The University of Wyoming Art Museum will host a UW Art Department Faculty Exhibition gallery walk-through Thursday, Feb. 23, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
The informal gallery walk-through with museum curators and special guests from the Department of Art and Art History will focus on the triennial UW Art Department Faculty Exhibition on view in the museum through March 18. The event is free and open to the public.
Participating faculty members are Peter Fine, Brandon Gellis, Margaret Haydon, David Jones, Patrick Kikut, Rani Robison, Bailey Russel and Doug Russell. Katie Christensen, curator of education and statewide engagement, and Kayle Avery, exhibitions coordinator, will guide the gallery walk-through, including a question-and-answer session with faculty at the UW Art Museum.

Through its “Museum as Classroom” approach, the UW Art Museum places art at the center of learning for all ages. Located in the Centennial Complex at 2111 Willett Drive in Laramie, the museum is open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday hours are extended to 7 p.m. February through April and September through November. Admission is free.
