Comedian Josh Wolf to Perform at UW April 19

Comedian Josh Wolf brings his style of stand-up comedy to the University of Wyoming Wednesday, April 19, at 9 p.m. in the lower level of the Wyoming Union. The event is free and open to the public.

Originally from Boston, Wolf performed his first stand-up show at the age of 15. By his mid-20s, Wolf moved to Seattle and performed more. In 1999, Wolf began performing a one-man show at the HBO Workspace, which landed him a deal at 20th Century Fox and a television series of his own with ABC. While performing on his show, Wolf began writing for television for such programs as “Yes, Dear,” Will Smith’s “All of Us” and “Cuts.”

Wolf returned to television in 2006, appearing on the fourth season of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing.” He also made multiple appearances on “My Name Is Earl” from 2006-09, and had recurring appearances on and also wrote for “Raising Hope” in 2010-11.

In 2009, Wolf made regular appearances on “Chelsea Lately” and toured nationally with comedian Larry the Cable Guy. Then, in 2011, Wolf became a New York Times best-selling author for his contributions to Chelsea Handler’s book, “Lies that Chelsea Handler Told Me.” He later received his own book deal.
