UW Staff Recognition Day April 10

More than 200 employees will be honored during Staff Recognition Day Monday, April 10, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the University of Wyoming Union Ballroom.

Staff Recognition Day is an annual event honoring the hard-working staff of UW. It provides an opportunity to show all staff members how much they are appreciated for everything they do to keep the main UW campus, and throughout the state, functioning and providing a top-notch educational experience to thousands of students.

“Cowboy Oscars” is the theme of the annual event that features door prizes, entertainment, years of service recognition and awards to the university’s outstanding staff members. A highlight will be the announcement of the Employee of the Year, and 20 individual Staff Awards also will be presented to outstanding UW staff members.

Raffle tickets for a Western art print and a meat package will be available for purchase at the event.
