These are among the activities scheduled June 5-11 at the University of Wyoming:
Tuesday, June 6, 7 p.m. -- Planetarium show, “IBEX: The Search for the Edge of the Solar System.” Tickets cost $3 for students and $4 for non-students, Physical Sciences Building basement. Advance tickets are available in the Physical Sciences Building, Room 204.
Wednesday, June 7, 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. -- J Shogren Shanghai’d Duo, an Americana band, will perform for the UW Summer Programs concert series on Simpson Plaza. Free.
Friday, June 9, 8 p.m. -- Planetarium show, “Our Night Sky: A Different View.” A free STAR Observatory tour (weather dependent) follows at 9 p.m. Tickets cost $3 for students and $4 for non-students, Physical Sciences Building basement. Advance tickets are available in the Physical Sciences Building, Room 204.
Saturday, June 10, 11 a.m.-- Planetarium show, “Two Small Pieces of Glass.” Tickets cost $3 for students and $4 for non-students, Physical Sciences Building basement. Advance tickets are available in the Physical Sciences Building, Room 204.
A variety of exhibitions can be seen at the UW Art Museum in the Centennial Complex, 2111 Willett Drive in Laramie. The museum is open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Free.
Dinosaur skeletons, ancient mammal fossils and other exhibits are on display in the UW Geological Museum, open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Free.
The UW Department of Botany’s Williams Conservatory is open to the public Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Free.
