Fall UW MBA Program Students Begin Fall Semester with Orientation Aug. 21

The University of Wyoming Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program’s continued success in experiential learning, leadership development, international programs and job placement has led to a strong cohort of students. Students have an orientation session Monday, Aug. 21.

The UW MBA Program is consistently ranked as a “best value” and “best buy” program. The program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, an accreditation reserved for the top 5 percent of business schools worldwide.

MBA students will begin orientation on campus learning what to expect in the program. They then will participate in a one-day activity led by Solid Rock Outdoor Ministries before departing for the annual Jackson Leadership Conference Aug. 24-26.

The event is exclusive to UW’s MBA students for both first- and second-year campus cohorts and also second-year online MBA cohort students.

“This year, we are grateful to have the largest number of executives joining us at the event,” says Tanner Parmely, MBA Program recruiter. “These individuals represent a number of industries domestically and abroad, and their shared knowledge and experiences significantly impact our students.”

Students will return to Laramie and begin classes Wednesday, Aug. 30.

“The job market is calling for educated and well-experienced individuals, and the UW MBA Program welcomes questions about how we can make our students a highly demanded asset in that competitive job market,” Parmely says.

She says applications for the fall 2018 term are now being accepted.

“Early admissions will begin in November, and students will be accepted on a rolling basis until classes are full, or June 30, 2018, whichever comes first,” Parmely says. “Taking the first step to continue your graduate education is a big one. The MBA Program office will gladly respond to all inquiries and work with you to make the application process as simple as possible.”
