New Design for UWs WyoOne ID Cards

As of Sept. 7, the University of Wyoming’s WyoOne ID card has a new look and portrays the Wyoming Union in the university’s colors of brown and gold.

“The design we are replacing has been used for 10 years. The new design is a fun change for the UW community,” says Dawn Deiss, ID office manager.

It is not necessary to replace your current card, but new cards will be issued at a price of $10 for those who prefer to have the new design. Current cards will need to be traded in to obtain this price.

New cards may be obtained by visiting the WyoOne ID Office, Room 28 of Knight Hall.

WyoOne ID cards are issued to all students during their first semester of enrollment at UW. The cards are used throughout the students’ entire careers at the university. The card is needed to pick up transcripts, financial aid, cash checks, access student health services, enter recreation facilities, check out library books and materials, access food services, enter residence halls and other necessities.

UW employees also are eligible for WyoOne ID cards; so are spouses and dependents of UW students and employees.
