Thompson has held leadership positions with Conoco Inc., Northrop Grumman, Dish Network, CSG Systems and Microsoft. While at Microsoft, his accounting and finance functions supported the company’s software licensing business operations, which had an annual software revenue of more than $40 billion.

His business career has taken him throughout the United States and around the world, including Norway, Ireland, Puerto Rico and Singapore. Thompson graduated from the UW College of Business with a degree in finance and received his MBA from Pepperdine University.
