UW Trustees Set Agenda for Nov. 15

The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees is scheduled to consider proposals on student program fees, entrepreneurship, a new tourism and natural resources degree, a salary policy and other issues during its regular meeting Wednesday through Friday, Nov. 15-17.

The meeting will be held primarily in Room 506 of Coe Library. Meetings are open to the public, except for executive sessions.

Also on the agenda are presentations on the planned Science Initiative facility and other construction projects; UW Trustees Education Initiative proposals; and the university’s Engagement Task Force.

Public testimony will be accepted at 11 a.m. Thursday. The business meeting, in which trustees take formal action on agenda items, is scheduled for 12:15 p.m. Friday.

Various committees of the board are scheduled to meet from 8 a.m.-2:45 p.m. Wednesday in the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center. The regular board meeting begins at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Room 506 of Coe Library.

Also on the agenda are a lunch with the Staff Senate at the Wyoming Union and a joint meeting with the UW Energy Resources Council at the Hilton Garden Inn.
