Northern Arapaho Endowment Scholarship Applications for 2018-19 Available at UW

December 15, 2017

The Northern Arapaho Endowment Scholarship Committee is accepting applications from full-time students for scholarship awards at the University of Wyoming. The scholarships are for the 2018-19 academic year.

The application deadline is Thursday, March 1.

Undergraduates should have junior or senior class status at the time the scholarship is used. Previous recipients are required to reapply for continued support.

Application packets must be complete at the time of submission to UW. Applicants are asked to describe their involvement in American Indian activities and to explain how they plan to use their education to benefit the Northern Arapaho people.

Northern Arapaho Endowment scholarships cover tuition and mandatory fees, a book allowance, a subsistence allowance and, for those with legal dependents, a dependent’s allowance. Traditionally, five or six awards are given each year.

Funding for the scholarships is provided by an endowment at UW created in 1987 by the Northern Arapaho tribe and the state.
