University of Wyoming Calendar for Jan. 15

These are among the activities scheduled Jan. 15-21 at the University of Wyoming:

Monday, Jan. 15 -- Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Wyoming Equality Day. Most UW business and administrative offices will be closed.

Tuesday, Jan. 16, 7 p.m. -- Planetarium show, “Wyoming Stargazing.” Tickets cost $3 for students and $4 for non-students, Physical Sciences Building basement. Advance tickets are available in the Physical Sciences Building, Room 204, or by going online at www.uwyo.edu/physics/ and clicking on “Planetarium Schedule.”

Friday, Jan. 19, 8 a.m. -- UW residence halls open for spring semester.

Friday, Jan. 19, 7 p.m. -- Planetarium show, “Constellations Across Cultures.” A free STAR Observatory tour (weather dependent) follows at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $3 for students and $4 for non-students, Physical Sciences Building basement. Saturday, Jan. 20, 11 a.m. -- Planetarium show, “To the Moon and Back.” Tickets cost $3 for students and $4 for non-students, Physical Sciences Building basement.
