The University of Wyoming Art Museum will host “Lunchtime Conversations with Curators” Wednesday, Feb. 7, from noon-12:30 p.m.

“Lunchtime Conversations with Curators” is an informal gallery walk-through with museum curators and special guests that focuses on one of the exhibitions on view in the museum. Visitors are encouraged to bring lunch and continue the conversation after the in-gallery session. The event is free and open to the public.

February’s event will feature “Indian Country: The Art of David Bradley” on view through Saturday, July 14. Visitors will be joined by Katie Christensen, curator of education and statewide engagement, and Nicole Crawford, curator of collections, who will guide the conversation at the UW Art Museum.

Discussions will be casual and informal, and will include stories behind the art.

For more information, call the Art Museum at (307) 766-6622, visit the website at www.uwyo.edu/artmuseum, or follow the museum on Facebook and Instagram.

Through its “Museum as Classroom” approach, the UW Art Museum places art at the center of learning for all ages. Located in the Centennial Complex at 2111 Willett Drive in Laramie, the museum is open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday hours are extended to 7 p.m. February through April and September through November. Admission is free.
