Registration Available for UW Stands Up Competition March 7

Sign-ups are underway for Stands Up, a University of Wyoming student comedy night hosted by 7220 Entertainment Wednesday, March 7, at 8 p.m. in The Gardens, located in the Wyoming Union.

The event is free and open to the public, but the actual competition is open only to UW students.

Students are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible; spots are limited. Cash prizes will be awarded: $250 for first place; second place will receive $100; and the third-place winner will receive $50.

7220 Entertainment is seeking volunteers to join one or more of its five committees responsible for planning events for students. The Club Events Committee organized UW Stands Up. The committee meets Tuesdays at 5 p.m. in the Campus Activities Center (CAC).
