University of Wyoming students are invited to learn about how to combat anti-Semitism and hate during an interactive education program Monday, April 9, from 6-8 p.m. in the Wyoming Union West Ballroom.
“Words to Action” is a program of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), a 100-year-old civil rights organization. The event is sponsored by UW’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; the Division of Student Affairs; the Department of Athletics; and Associated Students of UW.
There is no charge to attend, and dinner will be provided. All are invited.
Participants will learn constructive and effective responses to combat anti-Semitism and hate on campus, including prejudiced comments, hate speech, anti-Semitic vandalism, Holocaust denial and other hateful incidents.
To RSVP, email diversity@uwyo.edu or call (307) 766-6672.
