Laramie Inside Out Matthew Shepard Documentary Screened at UW Sept. 14

“Laramie Inside Out” will be screened as part of the 20th remembrance of Matthew Shepard’s murder. The documentary will be shown Friday, Sept. 14, at 6:30 p.m. in the University of Wyoming Union.

Following the screening, a panel discussion with several key participants profiled in the film will be presented. The event is free and open to the public.

UW alumna Beverly Seckinger will screen her 2004 documentary that focuses on the pivotal chapter in LGBTQ history, profiling the community response over the year following Shepard's murder in her hometown.

Events hosted in honor of Shepard’s death are meant to commemorate him, and to reaffirm UW’s values and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, and to engage the Laramie and campus communities.
