Founder of McGinley Orthopedic Innovations to Meet with UW MBA Students

Joseph McGinley, founder and CEO of Casper-based McGinley Orthopedic Innovations LLC (MOI), will speak with University of Wyoming Master of Business Administration (MBA) students Friday, Nov. 16, in the UW College of Business.

McGinley will meet with UW students as part of the MBA Program’s Executive Speaker Series this semester.

MOI’s patented IntelliSense medical devices are revolutionizing orthopedic surgery practices worldwide. The company has secured more than $15 million from private investors across the U.S. and is in the process of raising an additional $4 million from Wyoming investors. The additional funds will be raised through the state’s Wyoming Invests Now (WIN) equity crowdfunding program.

WIN simplifies the process for Wyoming businesses to solicit equity investments from private investors. With the approval of the Wyoming Secretary of State’s Office and the Wyoming Business Council, MOI launched the WIN Supporter Network for Wyoming firms that provide services to the state’s businesses such as banks, law firms, accounting firms and marketing firms.

The MBA Program’s Executive Speaker Series allows UW MBA students the opportunity to participate in roundtable discussions and receive real-world learning experiences from a group of diverse industry leaders, including CEOs, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, financial service representatives and sports industry executives.

For more information, call Tanner Parmely, UW MBA Program coordinator, at (307) 766-2449 or email tparmely@uwyo.edu.
