UW Announces Thanksgiving Closures

Most University of Wyoming business and administrative offices will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 22-23, for Thanksgiving. UW classes will be dismissed Nov. 21-23.

Normal business hours (8 a.m.-5 p.m.) and classes will resume Monday, Nov. 26.

Coe Library will close at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, and will be closed Thursday and Friday. It will be open from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, and from 1-11 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25. All other library branches will be closed Thursday through Sunday.

Half Acre Recreation and Wellness Center will close at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21. It will be closed Thursday through Saturday and will reopen at noon Sunday, Nov. 25.

The UW Art Museum will be closed Thursday through Monday and will reopen Tuesday, Nov. 27. Normal hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday hours are extended to 7 p.m.

The UW Geological Museum will be closed Thursday and Friday; it will be open Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Normal hours are Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

LaramieLink Dial-A-Ride service will end at 2 a.m. Wednesday. Normal service will resume Saturday at 10 a.m. The Campus Commuter will operate on the holiday schedule Wednesday. UW transit services will be unavailable Thursday and Friday. Regular on-call services will resume Saturday.
