American Heritage Center Finalists Interview This Week at UW

Finalists for the position of director of the American Heritage Center (AHC) at the University of Wyoming are scheduled to give public presentations this week.

All presentations will take place in Room 123 of the College of Business Building.

The candidates are Pamela Hackbart-Dean, director of the Morris Library Special Collections Research Center at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale; and Kevin Mulroy, formerly the A.J. McFadden dean of the Claremont Colleges Library in Claremont, Calif.

UW’s AHC is a major archival repository, holding more than 3,500 manuscript collections. The collections are regional, national and international in scope. The AHC also houses one of the largest archives west of the Mississippi -- its holdings draw scholars from the U.S. and abroad, as well as serving UW’s faculty, undergraduate and graduate students, and teachers in Wyoming and the public.
