Two departments within the University of Wyoming’s College of Arts and Sciences have gained national attention.

The Department of Communication and Journalism and the Department of English both have been ranked on College Factual’s nationwide “Best Value for the Money” list. The rankings take into account the average time students take to graduate, as well as the quality the school provides and the average yearly cost of the school.

The Department of Communication and Journalism ranks No. 8 out of 508 communication and media studies analysis programs, while the Department of English ranks No. 17 out of 603 general English literature programs at colleges and universities across the United States.

Overall, College Factual has ranked UW No. 10 on its list of “Best Colleges for the Money.”
