Comedian Mentalist to Perform for UW Students Sept. 3

Mentalist Sean Bott will bring his brand of comedy to the University of Wyoming at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, in the Wyoming Union Ballroom. The event, sponsored by the Campus Activities Center’s (CAC) 7220 Entertainment Late-Night Events Committee, is free and open only to UW students.

Bott began entertaining crowds while growing up on an Army base in Saudi Arabia. With appearances on HBO, the Syfy channel, the CW, NBC and in “127 Hours” with James Franco, Bott’s innovative and distinct brand of comedy mentalism has entertained audiences worldwide.

During his performance, a handful of pocket change will melt, time will travel on watches and smartphones, and participants will feel themselves pushed as Bott stands across the stage from them. Minds will be read, and objects will move with no physical contact.
