Release Time for State of the University Address Thursday

University of Wyoming employees have been granted 90 minutes of release time to hear Acting President Neil Theobald deliver his “State of the University” address Thursday, Oct. 3.

He will provide updates on key issues and initiatives and outline future plans starting at 3:30 p.m. at the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center.

The scheduling of release time should be a collaborative discussion between employee and supervisor to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the unit.

Members of the campus community and the public are invited to attend the event, which will be followed by a reception. Wine, beer, soft drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served.

Before the acting president’s address, introductory remarks will be offered by Jason Wilkins, president of the Associated Students of UW.
