University of Wyoming Calendar for Dec. 16-22

These are among the activities scheduled Dec. 16-22 at the University of Wyoming:

Monday, Dec. 16-Friday, Dec. 20 -- Final examinations for UW students.

Monday, Dec. 16, 4 p.m. -- Rachel Sailor, an associate professor in the UW Department of Visual Arts, will present the Sandeen Lecture in the Humanities. She will discuss “The Broad Movement: Pictorial Photography in the American West, 1900-1950” in Coe Library, Room 506. A reception will follow. Free.

Tuesday, Dec. 17, 4:30 p.m. -- The Wyoming Technology Business Center, based at UW, will host an e2e Wyoming meeting at Coal Creek Tap, located at 108 E. Grand Ave. in Laramie. E2e Wyoming is an educational networking program for entrepreneurs.

Tuesday, Dec. 17, 6:30 p.m. -- Cowgirl basketball vs. Gonzaga University, Arena-Auditorium. Ticket prices vary.

Tuesday, Dec. 17, 7 p.m. -- The UW Harry C. Vaughan Planetarium presents “December’s Night Sky” in the Physical Sciences Building basement. Tickets cost $3 for students and $5 for non-students. Tickets for children under age 5 are free. Advance tickets are available in the Physical Sciences Building, Room 204, or by going online at www.uwyo.edu/physics/planetarium.

Wednesday, Dec. 18, 7 p.m. -- Cowboy basketball vs. Utah Valley University, Arena-Auditorium. Ticket prices vary.

Friday, Dec. 20, 7 p.m. -- The UW Harry C. Vaughan Planetarium presents “Constellations Across Cultures” in the Physical Sciences Building basement. Tickets cost $3 for students and $5 for non-students. Tickets for children under age 5 are free. Saturday, Dec. 21, noon -- UW residence halls close for fall 2019.
