UW College of Business to Host Fourth Virtual Business Informational Session

The University of Wyoming College of Business will host its fourth virtual COVID-19 business information Zoom session Tuesday, June 2, from 12:30-1:30 p.m.

The college’s globally recognized economists will share insights into the recently created Center for Business and Economic Analysis (CBEA) and its work related to gross domestic product, fiscal stimulus, monetary policy and jobs. Discussion also will include the impacts of the COVID-19 crisis on Wyoming’s energy economy and the outlook for the state’s revenue sources.

Presenters include:

-- Anne Alexander, incoming interim provost and vice president for academic affairs.

-- David Aadland, chair of the Department of Economics and CBEA co-director.

-- Ben Cook, director of the MBA Program and CBEA co-director.

-- Rob Godby, acting associate dean, Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources and deputy director of the Center for Energy and Regulatory Policy.
