Drive-Thru Flu Clinic at UW’s War Memorial Stadium Parking Lot Oct. 8

An Albany County seasonal flu immunization point of dispensing (POD) event is scheduled Thursday, Oct. 8, from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. in the east parking lot of the University of Wyoming’s War Memorial Stadium.

Flu shots will be a drive-thru service, and participants for the POD event will be asked to remain in their vehicles. Participants are required to wear masks the entire time coming onto the UW campus.

Participants also are urged to bring their insurance cards -- most insurance companies cover the total cost of the flu vaccine.

All UW personnel, including students, faculty and staff who normally park in the stadium parking lot, are asked to park across the street in the lot near student housing or elsewhere. The War Memorial Stadium parking lot needs to be cleared and available in support of the flu shot traffic flow pattern.
